The 7,500 square-foot Rascal Flatts, named for and endorsed by the Grammy-winning country music band, is currently under design. It promises a Southern-inspired menu, live nationally-recognized entertainment with soundstage, a bar and retail space.

Rascal Flatts will be located across the bridge from Topgolf, adjacent to the kayak pond at the corner of Nunnahsae Park Drive and Stax Street. It will be the brand’s first location in the Southeast, slated to open in next summer.

A 4,000-square-foot Wahlburgers, a chef-inspired full-service restaurant with dining, full-service bar, and takeout, will command a corner space at the front door of MidCity. Wahlburgers is owned by reality TV and movie star brothers, Mark, Donnie and Chef Paul Wahlberg.

Construction is scheduled to begin later this year with a 2019 opening. This will be the chain’s first location in Huntsville and only the second in Alabama.

One of MidCity’s most active dining hubs, Jake’s Mews provides an entrance into north Alabama’s local food scene with everything from food trucks and brewery festivals to wine tastings.
